The method of animal slaughter used by Jews and Muslims should be banned immediately, according to an independent advisory group.
The Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), which advises the government on how to avoid cruelty to livestock, says the way Kosher and Halal meat is produced causes severe suffering to animals.
Both the Jewish and Muslim religions demand that slaughter is carried out with a single cut to the throat, rather than the more widespread method of stunning with a bolt into the head before slaughter.
Kosher and Halal butchers deny their method of killing animals is cruel and have expressed anger over the recommendation.
'Clearly suffering'
FAWC said it wanted an end to the exemption currently allowed for Kosher and Halal meat from the legal requirement to stun animals first.
It says cattle can take up to two minutes to bleed to death - amounting to an abuse of the animals.
"This is a major incision into the animal and to say that it doesn't suffer is quite ridiculous," said FAWC chairwoman, Dr Judy MacArthur Clark.
Compassion in World Farming backed the call, saying: "We believe that the law must be changed to require all animals to be stunned before slaughter."
The Humanists movement, which has previously called for the abolition of ritual slaughter, said ethical values should be put above religious ones.
"There is no imperative for Muslims or Judaists to eat meat produced in this manner," said spokesman Roy Saich.
"There is no reason why they should not simply abstain from eating meat altogether if they do not wish to eat the same meat as the rest of us."
All slaughtered food animals bleed to death, but in this country's licensed abattoirs they are stunned and deeply unconscious before their throats are cut; here it is not by any means a flawless procedure and is not a method even the Americans would tolerate for dispatching criminals, but it is significantly less cruel and less prolonged.
Ashcochet, a Jewish slaughterman, it is said, undergoes rigorous training and is unlikely to be careless or deliberately cruel; even so, non-Jewish scientists examining shechita, while recording loss of evoked response in calves as swift as 20 seconds, also recorded intervals of as long as 385 seconds - that is more than six minutes - before the calf ceased the struggle to get to its feet.
The average period for calves observed by one scientist between the cut and the end of the struggle was 171 seconds - almost three minutes. This hardly confirms the Jewish claim that death is pretty well immediate and the animals scarcely feel a thing.
The figures for the halal slaughter of calves are much the same - the average 215 seconds between the cut and unconsciousness, the best figure 132 seconds (more than two minutes), the worst 297.
With halal, however, we have the complication of private slaughter, totally unskilled, usually of sheep, notoriously for Eid-el-Kebir, an annual Islamic feast, but also to bring a blessing, for example, on a new house.
A report on religious slaughter from the Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), an independent advisory body established by government in 1979, is likely to pass unnoticed.
Its first report in 1985 concluded that halal and shechita should come to an end within three years. Nothing was done and they did not.
In 1992 a spokesman for the then Conservative administration wrote that the issue was "a fundamental matter of religious belief " and that ministers "must allow people the freedom to practise this aspect of their religion". It is, however, not a belief, but a mere practice that is contrary to the spirit and teachings of both the Bible and the Koran; this assertion will no doubt encourage readers to bandy quotations till Kingdom come, but I am adamant that neither canonical text encourages or condones cruelty to animals.
This is a perilous subject, not for the correspondence that it will engender, but for the accusations of racial and religious prejudice that are inevitable when anyone is rash enough to criticise religious slaughter.
I admit to a prejudice against cruelty to animals and if in this I cross swords with other races and religions, so be it, for in my plea for compassion I occupy a higher moral ground than those who elevate ancient laws of hygiene into articles of faith.
To eat a lamb chop a lamb must be killed, but I would rather that it had not been forced, terrified, onto a transporter and carried hundreds of miles to its death. I want my chicken to have something resembling a natural life and would rather wring its neck than have it die suspended by its feet from a conveyor belt.
We have, nevertheless, in this country, a long history of caring for the welfare of all animals. We no longer bait the bull and bear. The first Cattle Cruelty Act was passed in 1822.
Slaughterhouse conditions have been, admittedly irregularly, under review for almost two centuries, and shechita was permitted out of kindness and respect when the Jewish population was a tiny minority of 50,000 or so and no one thought it would increase.
Halal slaughter was accepted on the back of shechita and the demand for it must now satisfy a minority of millions.
Why should we surrender the majority to the customs of the incoming minorities. Would white Anglo-Saxons of Christian background be expected to accept without demur the sharia laws of Islam when we shed their Western equivalents centuries ago?
Why, then, must we tolerate halal slaughter and its Trojan Horse, shechita? FAWC again demands that we should not; FAWC is right; and the Government could do a great good by courageously obeying it.
Ask your supplier which of its products are Halal killed. Listen carefully to the response, many weasel words are used to avoid you finding out the truth.

Meeting Tuesday 19th October 2010. Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
Meeting Tuesday 19th October 2010. Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
BNP Doncaster and Rotherham branches.
A well attended meeting for the benefit of Rotherham and Doncaster branches with the usual strong representation from Barnsley branch.
Chaired by John Bettney.
Speakers – Marlene Guest and Simon Goodrich.
Marlene Guest told us about her recent successful resistance to an inappropriate Planning Consent in a small Rotherham village. This Planning application was by a Local business man, we will call him Mr K.
Marlene told us that allegations of bribery by this man were documented in council files.
“ We will go after anyone who destroys our heritage” Marlene asserted.
She gave us information how to obtain Interests, Gifts and Hospitality information from Council Records.
She has also challenged a local councillor about the hospitality he has declared for a local building firm. This Councillor is on the planning committee and she feels that there is a real conflict of interest. Marlene has managed to get a local newspaper interested in aspects of this. She went on to tell us about other conflicts of interest that she is currently working on and told us there is lots of work still to be done.
Simon Goodrich spoke next.
Simon grasped the nettle and endeavoured to explain to us some of what is going on in the party nationally. He explained as far as possible about the Appointments, Transparency and Funding , also the ongoing work of the Transparency Committee.
He spoke at length about the Bring our Boys Home campaign and answered questions and listened to our opinions about the fundraising issues around anyone signing this petition being pursued for funding. Assured us that Mr Griffin was looking at changing the form to alleviate the issue.
Simon explained to us how he sees the new regional approach working .
Simon told us that Mr Griffin has appointed him in a Regional role in the North, with another appointment to be made in the South, with a brief to help fill the gaps between regions and branches and to coordinate activities at election times to use our resources to best effect.
We were told that Andrew Brons has been elected as President of the Nationalist Grouping in the European Parliament. Successfully attracting enough EMPs to this grouping attracts extra European funding.
Questions were taken and answered, the usual raffle was drawn.
Much networking thereafter ensued and a good time was had by all.

Surge in Remittances Points to Sharp Rise in Illegal Immigrants from Pakistan
The number of illegal immigrants from Pakistan in the UK could be as high as 200,000 according to a new report out today which has compared official statistics on the number of Pakistani born workers with a dramatic increase in the level of remittances being sent to that country.
An examination of workers remittances shows that they are now more than six times higher than in 2001 but, according to the Government’s Labour Force Survey, the number of Pakistani born workers in Britain has risen by only 67%, says the report (Briefing Paper 1.24) from think tank Migrationwatch
To test whether Pakistan was out of line with other source countries the researchers compared remittances to the Philippines over the same period which also showed a rapid increase. They found that the number of those born in the Philippines and in employment in the UK had trebled in the same period thus explaining much of the increase. This suggested that there were a lot more Pakistanis in the UK than official figures indicate.
In 2001 about 108,000 Pakistani born workers remitted $80m, or about $750 a head. Assuming, for example, that remittances per head have doubled since then as wages have increased and workers have moved up the ladder, the current flow of $520m a year would require about 350,000 workers to send home $1500 each year.
However, only 180,000 Pakistani born workers appear in the official Labour Force Survey so the remaining 170,000 workers needed to reach this level of remittances are likely to be working illegally. But illegal workers are likely to be paid less than those here legally, so there could well be, on this very rough calculation, as many as 200,000 Pakistanis working illegally in Britain.
‘We already know from investigations by newspapers that there are significant numbers of fraudulent students from Pakistan but not all will have come via this route. As there are still no checks on departure, a proportion of those coming as visitors might well stay on after their visas expire. In the five years 2004-8 over half a million visas were issued in Pakistan, including nearly 60,000 student visas[1]. Others could have arrived on the back of a truck,’ said Sir Andrew, Chairman of Migrationwatch.
‘In our view the only plausible explanation for such a rapid increase in remittances from Pakistan is a sharp rise in the number of illegal immigrants sending money home. This paper only attempts a ball park figure but it points to a matter of considerable concern. Not only are illegal workers undercutting the wages of British workers but, in the case of Pakistan there are serious security aspects to an immigration system that has more holes than a Swiss cheese. This requires a root and branch review of the visa system for Pakistan,’ he said.

Mister Fox writes about Establishment Violence
Establishment Encourage Violence Against CriticsI wrote an article a couple of years ago on how the establishment dehumanise people who threaten their privilege lives and how this can lead to violence as Pym Fortyn was set up by the Dutch media. The ruling ideological caste have no answer to our arguments so use not only character assassination but encourage physical violence against their critics. They do not like having their corruption exposed.http://isupporttheresistance.blogspot.com/2009/03/establishment-de-humanisation-of.htmlIt is usually done indirectly so they can keep up the appearance of respectability but evil Peter Hain who did so much to bring about famine and genocide in Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively never apologised for it so presumably is pleased with what it he’s done, had advocated violent confrontation with the BNP. He is trying to do the same again and make himself rich at the same time by corruptly trousering £130 grand: "It is vital that everyone now isolates and confronts the BNP and works with United Against Fascism to defeat them." The gang of UAF thugs attack Nick Griffin everyone can see how it is done. He dehumanises the objects by calling them “racists” and “fascists” so that the attackers feel good about harming them? The Mirror of 10/6/09 twisted the truth to present victims of politically motivated violence to be the perpetrators. What sick, corrupt liars are their journos.http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/06/10/eggstremist-115875-21428619/”But minutes later they were sent packing by 60 placard-waving protesters chanting: "Nazi scum off our streets."...then...” Protester Harry Dare was punched in the back by a fleeing far-right supporter. Mr Dare said: "I'm not seriously hurt but I was hit and it was unprovoked. I didn''t use violence against them. I just told them they were fascists and we didn't want them anywhere near Parliament."”In fact the demonstratore are not supposed to be “anywhere near parliament” under terrorism law! The police stood over the road watching. There is always a high visibility Policing in and around Parliament Square and many carry machine guns. They've got High Definition CCTV cameras all over the streets that can tell the time on someone’s wristwatch. This demo will have been recorded and monitored from many angles, and the Police nearby would have been immediately informed. I suggest we all complain the the Metropolitan police.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWVO0WOwpJ0One of the assailants had a House of Commons Visitors pass on his lapel and there was obviously collusion from a mainstream party worker. The Labour party is largely responsible for the funding of UAF and Searchlight magazine.Surely our representatives should have armed security - as enjoyed by other elected officials. They are clearly unable to rely on the police.Furthermore the media edited the footage to sho the BNP security man in a bad light when he behaved very professionally.http://leejohnbarnes.blogspot.com/The Sun have encouraged more attacks on Nick and in a country with hundreds of Muslim extremists and terrorists they are encouraging assassination. http://extras.thesun.co.uk/flash/nick_griffin/shoot.htmlThe Establishment are trying to destroy a rival who is openly challenging them and exposing their corruption. The BNP exposed the police cover-up of the widespread child-rape of young white girls by older Muslim men. Take no notice of this obsession with holocaust denial. Nearly every Muslim in the country denies the holocaust and believes Mossad did the Twin Towers. An Establishment trick is to pick on the ethnic identity of the party as if we should have nothing for ourselves. This is part of destroying us as a people. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2009/jun/08/bnp-legal-challengesThe party's constitution, which says membership is "strictly defined within the terms of … 'indigenous Caucasian' and defined ethnic groups emanating from that Race" is a breach of the law against discriminating in membership organisations, according to legal experts.Lawyers also said that as the BNP gets access to the European parliament, with a budget for employing staff and contracting services, it would also be open to employment law, which prohibits direct and indirect discrimination."If an individual challenges and they maintain a practice not employing any visible minority people, there is no doubt that like any employer who has such practices, they can be sued," said employment barrister and chair of the Society of Black Lawyers, Peter Herbert. The last paragraph is hypocritical and shows them as dishonest. How many white lawyers are in the Society of Black Lawyers?I think The BNP is exempt from the Race Relations Act 1976, as amended by the Race Relations Amendment Act 2000.Its membership constitutes a group of more than 25 members whose main purpose is to provide services to a particular racial group - the Indigenous British.About Us / Aims & ObjectivesThe Society of Black Lawyers (SBL) is the oldest organisation of African, Caribbean and Asian lawyers in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1969 by Rudy Narayan and Sibghbat Kadri QC, the Society is an advocacy organisation, which exists to:1. promote equality and diversity within the legal profession;2. act as a representative and strategic voice for lawyers, law students, paralegals, jurists and legal academics of African, Caribbean and Asian heritage; and3. campaign to ensure access to justice and legal services for ethnic minority and disadvantaged communities.Over the last 35 years, the SBL has been at the forefront of the fight for race equality and is widely regarded as the legal arm of the civil rights movement. Key SBL achievements include:1. Producing the first directory of African, Caribbean and Asian lawyers;2. Organising the first ever Anglo-USA conference on race hate crimes (2000);3. Providing oral and written submissions to the MacPherson Inquiry into the police investigation of the racist murder of Stephen Lawrence. It was as a direct result of the Society’s submissions to the Inquiry that the then Lord Chancellor asked the Law Commission to review the rules on Double Jeopardy;4. Supporting the creation of the National Black Crown Prosecution Association (NBCPA);5. Establishing the National Association of Black Law Students (NABLS);6. Acting as legal observers during the first democratic elections in South Africa;7. Organised the first national speaking tour of the late Johnnie L. Cochrane Jr. (the attorney who represented O.J. Simpson) and Milton Grimes (the attorney who represented Rodney King);8. Spearheading the campaign which led to the introduction of section 95 of the Criminal Justice Act 1991. This section placed a positive duty on the Home Secretary to publish statistics race within the criminal justice system. These statistics have become one of the main sources of information on the experiences of black and ethnic minority groups across the criminal justice system.Anyway, Black activists in the Labour Party like Vaz and Abbott pushed for a Black section in the Labour Party but it was voted down. Labour can not complain if BNP does the same . Also Labour actively encourage " Black only" orgainisations from police and social outfits and fund them on an ethnic basis. There is nothing to stop a "Black" or " Asian" party. There is a Muslim Parliament and there is an Islamic party but it seems to have been bribed by Labour not to push itself electorally on the grounds that Labour would represent its interests. But not now as Labour is collapsing. The BNP are gaining middle class members and voters which should make a lot of difference in the long run and there are a several BNP councillors that own businesses who, through networking, will probably help to increase the popularity of the party. Yet they are described as “fascists” and “Nazis” which is becoming laughable. What is it about the BNP the media hate so much? Is it that their policy is so different from the norm that they attack people who are not like them? General dislike of the leaders? As the elites promote our badnesss they are affected themselves and this leads them to wider corruption. They have no sense of honour or duty and are base-minded. A statesman would not stoop that low but these moral inferiors think nothing of it. Absolute Radio’s Geoff Lloyd dutifully played his part in in the co-ordinated attack upon the BNP by using their pasts. This is the presenter who a couple of years ago joked about heroin use to normalise it “Smack the vein”! They are ethnically and morally corrupt. It was the BNP’s Michael Barnbrook who exposed Conservative MP Derek Conway and started the expenses scams ball rolling.A major part of the BNP campaign was against the corruption of the elites “Punish the Pigs” but the elites want to keep their positions so tell lies. Are the media, like the politicians, scared the BNP will expose them too?Polly Toynbee saw this in the BNP: “ The BNP are Gay bashers, gypsie haters, and Climate change deniers.” Richard Littlejohn seemed to see Asian child abuse in them like the missing girl who was sexually abused and thought to have been chopped up and put in Kebabs for the public at a Blackpool kebab outlet!:” As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, if the BNP didn't exist the other parties would have to invent them. The existence of the fascist fringe allows mainstream politicians to parade their own self-righteousness and gives the BBC the opportunity to flaunt its 'liberal' credentials. If the bigger parties and the BBC didn't stifle debate on everything from immigration to violent crime, the BNP wouldn't exist, except as a gang of twisted, sex-starved skinheads plotting above a kebab shop “ He reportedly earns £800,000 a year and lives in Florida.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/rod_liddle/article6445961.ecehttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1896204/BBC-boss-retires-with-4m-pension.htmlThey do not expose the ugly side of the elites though, do they. When the elites expose those they perceives as possible rival elites they do not expose their own proprietors or editors. they kept quiet about Maxwell until he was dead but exposed other people. They saved this for the elections.http://www.spectator.co.uk/the-magazine/features/3634483/even-if-the-systems-to-blame-no-one-forced-mps-to-milk-it.thtmlDavid Dimbleby was chairman of the Council For The Preservation of Rural England, a worthwhile organisation, but he was preserving the countryside he and other elites live in. When Asylum Centres have been planned in fine rural areas the residents mount stringent protests as thy want to reserve their things but berate us for wanting to preserve or things and tell us if we don’t allow immigrants to take them off us we like Hitler! The rich of course hob knob with each other and their idea of sharing is having the sons of very rich foreigners at Eton with their own. Blair’s expenses records have now been accidentally shredded!Muslims child-raping underage white girls brought victory in our northern English cities. It was a Labour party directive that ordered the Police and media to not alert the public to avoid race battles. There should be some senior police prosecuted for complicity with Muslims in child-raping young white girls. The press are as an institution liberal-Socialist. Individually they want to keep their jobs so toe the line. The media put a great deal of money and effort into their Anti-BNP campaign, with every newspaper and even The Publican, Accountancy Age and Caterer & Housekeeper joining the biased fray. But because of the Internet - BNP website, blogs and activists on the ground, the party could get over the real story. The campaign of hatred destroys the media pretence of being fair and unbiased and the NUJ is still the closed shop that it was.Media hacks are used to Keep It Simple Sunshine simple (KISS) and backing it up with whatever slander they can find and have come out all guns blazing. It has not been media reporting as such, but a marketing communications exercise, with all journos giving short and negative messages and repeating the message at certain intervals - the sort of "journalism" used in China- a proven form of marketing. We are not up against journalism - but, a marketing onslaught.http://www.patriotoutreach.org/docs/Brainwashing.pdfWhen the Establishment attack those they hate they generalise but even when corruption is widespread amongst the Establishment parties as with the expenses scandals they treat it as an individual matter; although it is clear that the expenses scandal effects the whole of the parties, the media focus on individuals. The BBC's impartiality is bogus. Nick Robinson repeated character assassination from the internet about Andrew Brons having an unsavoury past. Here is one you can do at home. Type Alistair Darling, Jack Straw, Harriet Harman, Peter Hain, David Cameron (ex Bullingdon Boy thug) into a search engine. They are just a few Labour ministers who have extreme pasts but the media cover that up. Don’t trust the media question every statement and look people up for yourselves. If the media had wanted they could have exposed the extremist pasts of Labour and destroyed the party, but they share the same ideology and are on the same side.David Cameron is an important supporter of the UAF thugs who attacked Griffin so its easy to see why he calls the BNP thugs. He sees himself in them. He acknowledged that people will be angry at the main parties over the MPs' expenses but urged them not to vote for the BNP. He lost his temper and spoke from inside at the Bath and West Show in Shepton Mallet, when a member of the audience argued that the BNP "have a point when it comes to immigration": "If you vote for the BNP you are voting for a bunch of fascists who want to divide this country over the issues of race and the colour of skin." Cameron told him: "Go and have a look at what the BNP have said. Do not be naive about what these people stand for. "They dress up in a suit and knock on your door in a nice way but they are still Nazi thugs". Yes, look at what they really stand for and do not trust the media. (2)His totalitarian response to comments by Patrick Mercer and Nigel Hastilow show what this “freedom” means - persecution of dissidents. But what does he stand for in his lovely suits? “There is no domestic or foreign any more. In this world today, we are all in it together.” He abandoned his constituency in Whitney to visit to Rwanda during severe flooding. If you care about the future for women under Islam in the west look up The Despatches programme filmed inside Mosques. On Radio Four on EU elections broadcast Simon Hughes stated that thy would have to start exposing the BNP’s argument such as exploding their myth that asylum seekers get new houses etc. this is not true he claimed. Its more or less true, though. In fact it is asylum getters who get this massively preferential treatment. Hughes was deceiving the public. The media never tell us what the elites agendas are. Hughes wants to submit us to Muslims.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHZYXOm898QThe individuals who go along with this are guilty of betraying their own children and grandchildren.blame us. I urge people to look for themselves and not trust the Caste who are trying to destroy their own people! The traditional elites, Archbishop of Canterbury, Judge Butler-Sloss and Stephan Hickman. QC are calling for the introduction of Sharia Law. Consider that we're told that Islam is a 'Religion of Peace' both Tony Blair and Boris Johnson have asserted as much. Such a force for 'goodness' should be evident in culture, and Society? They can not counter our arguments and though they are now saying that BNP must be exposed they have nothing to offer now their tired ideology no longer fits reality. They just repeat the same old cliches like “racism” and “hate.” This is intellectually easy but they have no answer for our new interpretation of our traditional beliefs. They believe that a “white Britain” is intrinsically bad because they think its what Hitler meant. What they are doing is dredging up silly statements from people's pasts. They have been found out. The BNP are exposing their criminal neglect of their people. They denounce us but they do not live in it and can act morally-superior until their children can not get into Cambridge, say. A wrong they are doing to us is that they are having our exclusive culture, territory and communities taken from us. These actions drain people of their spirit as happened with aborigines and Native Americans. Our failure to reproduce is a symptom of losing morale - “what is the point of reproducing? We have no future.” When men are proud they want more of themselves. They reproduce their strength in their offspring. What the caste are doing is making us feel bad about ourselves and the shame goes with our ethnicity, our history and our culture. Our attitude to the world around is taught to be cringing, always nice and apologetic. Women don’t want men like that and turn to other ethnic groups.Edmund Burke, Winston Churchill and Stanley Baldwin could have understood our wanting to remove undesirables like paedophiles and terrorists. But they would now be accused of fascism and racism. That is a mere step away from calling BNP a "Nazi party" which degenerates into referring to them as "thugs" and they have decide your fate without allowing you to explain our position or give voice to our duty to preserve our people and their cultures and religious traditions. The BNP will evolve into a viable twenty-first century nationalist party and others from the ethnic nations should do likewise because these will be the only bulwark against encroaching invasion. The native Hawaiians were a Polynesian people but have been nearly exterminated.http://www.faqs.org/minorities/North-America/Hawaiians-Indigenous.html(1) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-....ths- later.htmlhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnew....-on-floods.html(2) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-....c-vote-BNP.htmlhttp://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/article696619.ecehttp://www.movinghere.org.uk/galleries/histories/asian/origins/origins.htmhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHZYXOm898Qhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00klfmv/Stephen_Nolan_24_05_2009/(3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHZYXOm898Q(4) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/840594.stm(5) http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment....icle6345624.ecehttp://www.wikio.co.uk/video/1161546http ://spectator.org/archives/2009/02/20/britains-anti-christian-kulturPeople should look into this for themselves -http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/articl....ly -indeed.htmlhttp://www.spectator.co.uk/the-magazine/....-survivor.thtmlhttp://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/024231.phphttp://islamineurope.blogspot.com/2009/0....ews-to-gas.htmlhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-....ry-Pot ter.htmlhttp://www.saudigazette.com.sa/index.cfm....D=2008110320957http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-....ry-Pot ter.htmlhttp://migrationwatchuk.com/pressReleases/01-March-2009http://www.islamic-truth.co.uk/sitefiles/khilafahstate.htm

Rotherham Results
Results for Rotherham as a whole was 15% voted for the BNP. Not bad for a "Labour Stronghold".
I will publish more detailed results when I can.

A Bridgehead to Europe
A momentous evening last night with two MEPs elected, the incomparable Mr Nick Griffin and Mr Andrew Brons, a veteran Nationalist of many years standing.
I have been fortunate to have met both these kinsmen and can verify that our hopes and aspirations are safe in their hands.
Yorkshire and the North West, once the very heartland of Labour have shown that despite the massive media onslaught we have faced and the incalculable lies told about us a significant proportion of the British population is prepared to stand up and be counted.
The exposure that we cannot now be denied, the new members we have attracted, the new means we have used to get our message over combined with the good financial standing we now can enjoy will ensure that we will be a force to be reckoned with in the battle to come.
I would like to extend my gratitude to all BNP supporters who helped to achieve this. No other party relies to quite the same extent on the grassroots people for its support. Everyone who attended a meeting, posted a leaflet, canvassed, spoke to friends and family, were active on-line or donated even the smallest amount of time, money or effort is to be congratulated for being part of this historic victory.
We can allow ourselves only a brief pause for rest and reflection, a large task now lies ahead. We will now be subject to a media onslaught that will be worse than what we have had to date. All supporters must continue as before, resolute and determined. The message we carry is of paramount importance, we must ensure that as many people as possible are aware of the full breadth of our manifesto. Anti Europe Union sentiment is on the rise, we must get our message over. UKIP is a one trick pony and may do well in European Elections but has no answers to our Domestic problems.
The BNP message must be promoted. Look to our MEPs for the way forward.

Fellow Patriot,
Over the last six months the British National Party has literally been transformed into a mainstream party. The fact is that most people are focussed so much on winning Euro seats that other impressive advances and successes are being overshadowed.
Compared with where we were at Christmas, we are fundamentally a new party altogether. Such a huge range of advances have been achieved in the last six months that it defies belief, and on the eve of the Euro results we lay them out below for you to inspect.
Remember this progress would not have been achieved without the sacrifice, dedication and determination of the tens of thousands of members and supporters that constitute our movement. So on the eve of the Euro poll I wish to extend my sincerest thanks and remember that whatever happens tonight, I am eternally grateful to you all.
Remember that the progress below has been achieved in the face of the most gargantuan media smear and slander campaign in history. This is the first time that we have mounted such a national challenge to the establishment and their response has been hysterical, if not outright panic. Such a torrent of lies, smears, slander, fabrications, distortions and half-truths has never been waged against a legitimate political party in British history. It is an historical first. However, no matter what happens at the polls, this Party is now playing on the world stage.
- During the European Election Campaign in 2004, we had a total of 9,000 unique info pack requests. During the Euro Campaign of 2009, we have had roughly 65,000 unique enquiries; so many that we have an enormous backlog of work to get through. These enquiries have been gathered and databased using our new cutting-edge IT systems and will be transformed into new members, donors and supporters over the next few weeks and months.
- The British National Party now has 30 full-time staff working in a whole range of areas such as administration, databasing, fundraising, web construction, design, IT, and two full time accountants as well as many more fields of expertise. This compares favourably with the Euro Election in 2004 when we had only 5 people working for the Party.
- Until several months ago the BNP was always a “virtual party” with no offices or headquarters whatsoever. Now we have four such premises. We have a design studio, an administration centre with full-time call centre and accountancy department, a political headquarters and a dispatch depot. The BNP is no longer a “virtual party” but has a fixed presence with a large number of specialist full-time staff who run the internal departments of the BNP to industry-standards, regulated by a world-renowned management specialist.
- The growth in membership of the Party has been enormous. In the last six months since January 2009 we have had approx 3,500 new members join up. This is the largest single rush of new members in our long history as a Party (and on the back of the leaked membership list drama). Our membership department estimates that at the present rate by the end of the year we may well double our membership, making us one of Britain’s largest political parties.
- In the whole of 2007 the BNP raised a total of £500,000. In the first five months of 2009 we have raised over £650,000. We are on target to TREBLE our 2007 turnover this year, testament to the huge growth of the BNP and the increased professionalism of our fundraising department. To put things in perspective, we have spent more in total on our Euro Election Campaign 2009 than on all the previous election campaigns combined — a staggering achievement. So far this year our electronic email fundraising campaigns alone have raised approximately £100,000. So far in 2009 our e-fundraising department has sent out approximately 2 million emails, 700,000 in May alone. Thanks to the huge output of literature in our Euro Election Campaign, our central fundraising database has grown from a mere 19,000 to approximately 70,000 — which means that the funds available to the BNP to grow, increase efficiency, campaign and fight elections will multiply enormously over the next six months.
- The BNP is the proud operator of Britain’s most effective political call centre, which is bringing back into membership on average some 40-50 lapsed members per day, a huge number taking out Gold memberships. Our dedicated call centre, run by a professional customer care manager and staffed by party members, is raising the Party on average some £1,400 per day (roughly equating to 360,000 per year of extra funds for the Party).
- One of the most significant advances this year has been capturing three county council seats on June 4th. This is a tremendous breakthrough for the Party into an entirely new tier of government and gives us a massive boost of credibility. County council seats are huge and immensely hard to win — the local election equivalent of winning a Parliamentary constituency sized seat.
- The BNP has increasingly made its presence felt in local elections throughout the first six months of 2009. In over twenty local by-elections the BNP has averaged approximately 17 percent of the vote — a huge increase on previous years. The local election results, impressive as they are, were capped by the momentous victory in the Swanley by-election in Kent in February — the BNP’s first breakthrough in the South East Region.
- In January the Party launched Operation Fightback in response to regular abuses of our democratic fights by the media and political establishment. A large number of politically correct outrages have been reversed, cultural parades have been reinstated, persecution at the hands of local authorities has been dealt with and reversed, newspapers have scrapped, withdrawn or retracted smear stories and anti-BNP celebrities and other public figures have been held to account for their incitements. Operation Fightback is to be expanded after the Euro Elections to cope with the increased number of attacks on the Party.
Make no mistake, the establishment wouldn’t have bothered attacking so virulently a movement that was irrelevant and impotent. The huge, organised establishment campaign against the BNP is the biggest compliment of all — it proves that we are now a force to be reckoned with, a real nationalist alternative to the liberal-left campaign to destroy our nation. So whatever happens at the polls tonight, there can be no turning back. We are here to stay, and we will struggle to the bitter end to save our beautiful nation and people.
Long live the British People!
Yours sincerely,
Nick Griffin
